Margaret Sands-Goldstein, ATR-BC is a board certified art therapist. She has a BFA from the Center for Creative Studies and earned a graduate degree in art therapy from Wayne State University.

Experience
Margaret has provided art experiences for people of all ages in many different settings including mental health, addictions, schools, camp, grief support and spirituality. She has presented at numerous conferences, both locally and nationally. Margaret is also an adjunct faculty member of the Wayne State University graduate art therapy program.

Philosophy
Margaret believes in the power of self-expression and the ability of the creative process to help people learn about themselves, connect with others and live more fully in the world. She utilizes a strength-based, positive psychology approach to art therapy.

Fun Fact
Items that can regularly be found in Margaret's car include art supplies, artwork,(both finished and in progress), folders of handouts, sticks, rocks, gardening supplies, library books, items to recycle, packages to mail and empty coffee cups.
